What is Electro Homoeopathy?

Electro Homoeopathy is formed from three words:

Electro = energy
Homoeo = similar
Pathy = suffering

Who discovered it?

The Italian noble Count Ceaser Mattei discovered these remedies in the latter part of the 1800s in Bologna, Italy. Under the influence of the philosopher Paolo Costa, Count Mattei was encouraged to devote his time and wealth to the service of humanity. He was elected as a member of the Roman Parliament but soon abandoned political life and gave himself up entirely to medical studies. He acquainted himself with the researches of the illustrious Hahnemann, the discoverer of original Homeopathy, and also with human polarity. Being a herbalist himself, he prepared these remedies from herbs and named them Electro Homoeopathic medicines. After Mattei had completed his experiments, he subjected his remedies to severe and numerous tests. Between 1865 and 1867, more than 20,000 patients were treated under the supervision of Dr Coli and Dr Conti. In 1869 the Pope opened a ward in the Hospital of Sant Theresa at Rome where the remedies could be tested more fully. The results were astonishing.

Electro Homoeopathic fluids

In a healthy, normal body there is a perfect equilibrium of all powers and tensions. But when the harmony of the whole is troubled by some pathological process, it results in either an increased sensitivity, as mostly happens with acute diseases, or a lessened sensitivity and reaction, as with most chronic diseases. The Fluids are used to remove these derangements in the sphere of the nervous system and to regulate the tonic power in our body. There are five Fluids, which are made as colourless mixtures of essences in a weak alcoholic solution. According to their indication they are marked with botanical names.

Rhododendron cp. (Red Fluid) and Capsella cp. (Blue Fluid) are used as stimulants.

Populus cp. (Green Fluid) and Sambucus cp (yellow Fluid) as a mitigating remedy

Electro :

Electro comes from the electro bio-energy content extracted from plants and the way that energy is extracted and made into remedies. the cells and tissues of the organs are dynamised through central nervous system.

The force of electro bio-energy connects itself to any disturbance within the body and expels it from the system. It thereby restores the organic tissues and nervous system to their proper balanced state of health.

Homeo :

In Electro Homeopathy the word Homeo has been taken from the word Homoeostasis meaning that the equilibrium or balance of lymph and blood is maintained by the body for the normal functioning of all the organs of the body.

Pathy :

Any system of treatment.

In short, Electro Homeopathy is the system of natural medicines, made exclusively from plant extracts, by which a healthy balance is achieved and maintained throughout the whole body.

Electro Homeopathy medical system of treatment was invented by Count Ceasre Mattei of Bologna, Italy in 1865. Count was a rich landlord of Italy and during war he donated his lands to Pope Pious IX for the benefit of the people, for which Pope graced him with the title of Count. He was also made a Lt. General in the army. Later on, Count Mattei was elected as a Member of Parliament. But since he was not keen in politics, he resigned and came back to Bologna. He had a great leaning towards medicine and being a big landlord he was to keen to keep the farmers and other people working under him hale and hearty. Electro Homeopathy was subjected to numerous tests between 1865 to 1867 and after seeing its amazing results in 1869 the POPE, PIUS IX set apart a ward in the hospital of San Theresa at Rome for this system of medicine.

Under the influence of his friend Paulo Costa he started studying various branches of medicine. He studied Allopathy and Homeopathy but somehow he was not satisfied. Then he studied the works of great scientist and philosopher of the 16th century Paracelsus(1493-1541) of Switzerland. He was greatly impressed by the theories propounded by Paracelsus, which were:
(1) Law of presence of Electricity in Vegetable Kingdom.
(2) Law of Similarity.
(3) Law of Polarity.

Dr.Samuel Hahnemann invented Homeopathy in 1796 on the principle of Similia Similibus Curantur, on the Law of Similarity. But Count Mattei was not satisfied.In his opinion,since our body is complex hence it requires a number of medicines to be administered together to cure a disease radically. Hence he gave the Principle of "Complexa Complexis Curantur".

The second thing which Count Mattei saw in Homeopathy, was that minerals, poisons and nosodes etc. were also used. In his opinion, because vegetable kingdom was providing the source of food to mankind, so medicines should also be provided by vegetable kingdom. Hence he chose only 113 medicinal plants. According to Dr. Samuel Hahnemann there are three constitutions Psora, Syphilis and Psycosis. Instead according to Count Mattei, there are five temperaments, viz (1)Lymphatic Temperament, (2) Sanguine Temperament, (3) Bilious Temperament, (4) Nervous Temperament and (5) Mixed Temperament.

How Electro Homeopathic Medicines act

They tone up the brain and nerves by which the bodily process are controlled and strengthen the organs of digestion.
The medicines supply food for the red blood corpuscles of the blood and nourish the white corpusclses of the blood and lymph.
They furnish useful elements to the plasma of the blood, and they provide nutriment for the cells of which the tissues are built.
They promote the expulsion through the skin and other channels morbid and superfluous substances which interfere with the health of the body.
They give to the blood and lymph, and more particularly to the leococytes, which are found in these fluids such additional vigour, vitality and enables them more successfully to attack, weaken, neutralise, destroy and expel the bacilli and other disease producing germs which invade the organism.
They do not simply cure a particular disease for which they are prescribed,but at the same time do much good to constitution of the patients who use them.

Thus they cure cent per cent diseases whether acute or chronic, surgical or nonsurgical of male, female and children.
